Addresses Unlimited offers our customers a quick, affordable, and convenient solution to professionally delivering their printed pieces — postcards, brochures, newsletters, catalogs and more. No longer will you and your staff be hassled with stuffing envelops, stamping packages or hauling heavy mail boxes to the post office. Plus, we can accomplish this faster and less costly than doing it yourself.
Our trained postal and database specialists have the experience and state-of-the-art tools necessary to ensure that you are getting the greatest postage savings that is available from the Postal Service using automated (bar-coded) mail. In addition to saving you money in postage costs, this will also increase the reliability and speed of your mail delivery.
- CASS certification
Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS) improves delivery of your mail piece and maximizes postage savings by adding Zip+4 codes to your mailing list where possible. The CASS certification process also helps identify certain address problems and standardizes addresses to Postal Service formatting. The correct Zip+4 allow us to apply postal barcodes to your mail pieces, qualifying your mail for mail class discounts. We also remove duplicate addresses so that you only pay for what we mail.
- Inkjet addressing
We use high-speed, ink jet technology for accurate addressing and bar coding that meets or exceeds USPS addressing regulations. In addition, we offer wafer sealing, mail merge and 6 into 1 inserting.

- What is the best way to guarantee that my mailing piece is eligible for the service class I prefer?
According to the "U.S. Mail Layout Guides," mailing pieces require clear space (the area in lower right of a mailing piece where the address and barcode is printed). This area must be blank or with less than 10% ink density, to ensure that both the mail piece qualifies for your preferred mail service class and that any content in your piece isn't covered up in the addressing and mailing process.
- What will you do with any duplicate or questionable addresses from my list?
We remove duplicate addresses and CASS Certify the list, which allows us to identify "undeliverable" or questionable addresses. Please note: Some of the addresses categorized as “questionable” might actually reach their destination because the local mail carrier is familiar with the address. Therefore, you may want to include these questionable addresses in a mass mailing where it is more important to get the word out, as opposed to saving costs. Inform us when uploading your mailing list what you’d like us to do with any questionable addresses and we'll adjust your mailing quantity as needed.
- Can I request that undeliverable mail be returned to me so I can keep my mailing list up to date?
Yes, just ask us to add an Ancillary Service Endorsement line on your mail piece to tell the Post Office you are attempting to keep your list up to date. An endorsement line for this would say "Return Service Requested" and when printed on the mail piece ensures that it is returned to you with the new address or reason for non-delivery attached. Endorsement lines would also be used to indicate Change Service Requested, Forwarding Service Requested and Address Service Requested. These are normally required on a First Class Presorted pieces.
- Is there a fee for a Return Service Request?
Yes, for Standard or Bulk mail the piece will be returned to you and you will be charged a First Class rate plus an additional nominal fee. Return service is free with First Class and First Class Presort Services.
- Can you use my mail permit?
We are able to mail from our service location using our mail permit only. Unfortunately, mailing permits are tied to local post offices and may only be used in the locality where they are issued. If you'd like us to address your pieces and ship it to you, you could use your own permit and mail it from your location.
- What mailing list format should I send you?
We prefer you send your mailing list in either Microsoft Excel or a tab or comma delimited text file. The most widely-used file formats and extensions for mailing lists are:

- What's the best way to break out the address fields or column names when exporting or preparing a mailing list?
There is a minimum of five lines for any address which in turn limits the number of different fields we can include. These required fields are: Name, Address1, City, State, Zip. Optional fields might be Business Name, Address2, Dept., etc.
- Can I have you mail some of my order and ship the rest so I can keep some in stock?
Absolutely. We'll ship the quantity which is not mailed to the shipping address you provide on the order form.
- What other services do you offer?
Inserting – We can insert additional pieces into your mailing packages. Please contact us for a price quote.
Tabbing (also known as wafer sealing) – Any mailing piece that requires tabbing is automatically tabbed according to postal regulations. If you require tabbing but you don't need us to mail your material for you, please call us for pricing.
- If I do not print my mailing pieces with Addresses Unlimited, may I still use your mailing services?
We would be happy to provide you with a price quote for mailing services and will do our best to fit you into our schedule.
- Can you mail my pieces out of the U.S.?
While our current permit is for U.S. mail only (international addresses will be identified as "undeliverable" when we certify your list), we can discuss other options with you if your list includes international addresses that need to receive your mail.
